my SOAP STORy JOurney.

Soap Maker at Her Shop

why it started

I remember as a child my mum buying bars of soap in the supermarket and we'd happily used them, whether they were in the bathroom or downstairs toilet. She even had dishes!

Over the years I've begun to question why the supermarket soap is so popular, apart from the obvious convenience and price perhaps?

However, those words are now irrelevant. We have the internet which allows us to buy from any country around the world, at the click of a button.

When I started this journey I wanted to produce soaps that were 'back to basics'. used only natural ingredients and had a purpose. I also found that my soaps never left my skin dry so I wouldn't have the need to use a hand cream. Shops bought versions always needed moisturisers afterwards.

BAR:SUDS' ethos is committed to sustainability by manufacturing handmade soaps that are always plant based, cruelty free, vegan friendly, plastic free and zero waste. Plus the smell pretty good too so, good for the skin, good for the planet!

I hope you enjoy using my soaps as much as I enjoyed making them.

Happy suds day.
